Thanked: 2284I love box elder. The red is a thing that happens when the tree undergoes some sort of trauma. The tree naturally gives it off. Some box elder trees have no red at all. Some have tons. Here in Canada they call the tree a Manitoba Maple, and yes it is part of the maple tree family. Nice looking brush!
