    SOAPSTONE.
    Is pretty,very messy,Respirator is a must,I also run fans as the dust is horrendous.
    Eye protection also. You run into a faultline, this stuff can explode,be carefull, have fun

    I would really like to see that after it has been finished. Really nice coloring.
    The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

    found it just now. it makes a nice marbling effect.

    That's definitely a nice piece of soap stone. lots of figure and that yellow in it is awesome.

    That's cool, Bill. There's an old Indian soapstone source near here on one of my hike-in fishing trails. It's a Heritage Preserve, so can't take any out. I look forward to the finished product!
