Mine, depicted earlier in this thread, is basically a show piece, although I have actually used it on occasion.
This one however, looks ready to go in most anyones den!
Thank You Birnando,an many thanks for sending the exact Demensions, of your brush.
I was orig. going to clone yours but the Knot and materials could not make that happen, have to work with what you have.
Is a little off the wall as badger brushes go,but it is what it is

Just get yourself an Omega Pro 98 boar brush, take it all apart and save the knot. Does take some work, but it's possible. Then make yourself a custom handle for it. I actually took one apart a while back, and am in the process of turning a custom handle for it now.

Here it is next to my smaller Omega.

Did this some years ago. But I preferred to use the knot of the Omega 48 which I believe is the biggest.
This is an Omega 48 replica in walnut handle:

However, the knot is only 28mm in base. I wish I could find a 38mm!!!

Here's very rare brush that sold over on the UK forum TSR last week with a 38mm knot.

On the left is a 20mm finest, on the right is a 30mm finest, and in the middle is the jumbo 38mm Best.

Won't be turning a handle for it anytime soon, but when I do it should be a lot of fun!

You know what, like Pixel said, it is a very nice knot. It has a more "bulb" shaped top than the other badgers from TGN. It is also packed very Dense. Looks much like my 2 Simpson knots from the top view.

    I like it.
