I suppose yer right 10pups. The skinnier pod I used still had enough meat on it. By the time I got through the "fluff" it was about 1 5/8", 1 3/4" which is enough for a fatter handle.

I was just wondering if the fatter ones when turned down might loose the holes and get to the center. Which might not be a bad thing either. :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Ya, very true. They definitely get smaller the deeper you get. My next pod I buy I'll get a fat one, and I'll have to see how it plays out.

I've been waiting to see this. Awesome job! I had to Google banksia pods the options are wide open with them. I can't wait to see the next pod.

That is just awesome looking! Glad my computer is broke at home and I didn't have to wait to see it finished.
