Thanked: 375I tie the knot or use tape to make the hairs more rigid. Then I take a utility knife and cut as close to the base of the handle as I can. After that I use an under sized Forstner bit and drill the rest of the knot out. Once that's done I use pliers or my fingers to pull the remaining hairs and knot base out, with a little bit of sanding if needed.
