When I saw you cutting up the original brush I was thinking NO! I like the original. Now I see I was wrong. Your version of a finished product is way better. Looks great.

I am not much of a boar bristle brush man either. I would love to see that handle fitted to a delicious 24mm knot and 52mm loft silvertip. What a treat to lather with it.

Obie, someone else has taken your idea and wants me to recreate this handle for his synthetic Muhle knot. (BobH)

Out of all the vintage barber brushes, this really is my favorite style.

    Tom,

    Tom,

BobH is a gentlemen and such a handsome brush is well deserved. I'll call him my brother. Yes, I, too, like the handle style among the vintage brushes. Good work, Tom.

Geez Obie, thanks for those kind words. I hope I can live up to them, brother.

Great looking brush Andrew I love the handle shape and a fantastic piece of burl I may add, I'm sure Badger or Boar or one of my favourites a Boar & Badger mix knot all of them would look pretty outstanding in that handle.
