Thanked: 4Where to start?
I scored this old brush that was made in East Germany during the cold war. I have no idea what the bristles are made from but I would like to replace them and I'm not sure where to start.
I saw a video on steaming the old ones out but I'm afraid it might damage the decals on the handle. Is there any other way to remove them?
Also, where do you buy the knots? Any how-to info would be great.
Thanks!

What kind of hair does that look like to you? Kind of want to keep the integrity of the brush.
