    Default My DIY shaving brush

It's my first post here so Hi Gents!

Below I present my first finished shaving brush
    Description:
Knot - 24mm diameter Black badger (pure grade)
    Handle - ash wood
Finish - wood stain and CA coated
    Dimension - 135mm of total high. 60mm - knot and 75mm handle

This type of handle shape is really ergonomic. I prefer it.
Dimensios are fitted to bowl shown on last photos. Target was keep my fingers dry during lather buiding process.

That is a lovely and traditional shape. You got it right the first time! Congratulations!

Welcome to the forum. That brush and bowl are looking good. Very nice combination for bowl lathering.

The bowl comes from one of small Polish pottery. It's prototype and first (in Polish I suppose) one with this type of inner shape.
Really it little bit darker. Photos below are closer of true.

Love the brush. Where did the bowl come from?

Very nice brush & bowl. For a first timer you did a fantastic job on the brush. I can't say enough about it & the bowl looks like it will make a lather rather quickly. Great job indeed!!!

Can you really fit that into your pocket?
It looks like it was made from an old knife sharpener!!!
Sorry, I just had to do that!
