It was hard for me to drill the knot hole in it because the center was soft & the center point on the forester bit tried walking on me so now I have another piece of elk antler that is slightly larger, so I got a 28mm forester bit with a couple 28mm silvertip badger brush knots & I used some CA on the honeycomb of the antler this time & I'm waiting for it to set up & will apply more. I'll do that a few times so that the center gets harder so the bit won't walk on me this time because I will barely have enough room to drill my hole.
