i was just looking on ebay at them, i think you would need a 3" tall one to get a sufficient head diameter, but i am not 100% sure, i dont want to commit $10 for something i cant use, perhaps i will have to contact the troll owners club or something.
also does anyone know how you go about dyeing boar knots, or even if you can, if i am making a troll brush it may as well have lurid hair.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Pix, that wood is too nice to turn on a lathe, just drill for the knot and install. The knot and the size of the wood compliment each other perfectly.
