Thanked: 40While Anthrax might be an issue with animal hair, haven't brush manufacturers, ranchers, etc., developed techniques to clean/sanitize hair to eliminate the possibility of anthrax? After all, the original anthrax scare had to do with horse brushes. Manufacturers have figured out ways to safely sell horse brushes again.
Along those lines, you would think that there would be ways to properly treat goat, bison, deer, and caribou hair and sell an anthrax-free brush.

To the OP..I have couple Sable brushes picked up at a garage sale and originally made for milady. Got the dye out and they are great for me but not much backbone that modern guys like.
