Thanked: 2027Trust me, Exotic woods are far more expensive and harder to find than any plastic.
In reality plastics are probebly a better choice than woods in a wet environment,But if the brush is properly soaked and maintained they will serve you well for a very long time,wood handled brushes have been around for a hundred yrs or more.CAUTION
