    Very nice as always.

When designing a brush that will be used inside a cup or scuttle, do you put the "hardest" wood and/or "hardest" finish at the point of contact on the inside walls?

Some of my brushes look a bit in need of refinishing as my usual heavy handed approach has marred the edge.

The top portion is Ebony, about as hard as it gets, having never used a scuttle I never thought about the brush getting beat up.
