God, Andrew, you sure make it hard for me to keep my wallet closed everytime I see one of your brushes. If it wasn't for Xmas for the Grandkids I'd be beating your door down again. (But I do like to torture myself when it comes to your brushes. I've taken to wearing a bib before I look at one of your posts - it's a drool guard.)

Very nice!
I like the way the holes in the Banksia pod looks like coffee beans.

Andrew, haven't you learned yet, thinking is detrimental to your health and gives headaches. Some of my best inspirations have come when I was stupidly aware of nothing in my head at all. Then all those subconscious ideas that have been lurking come rushing in to fill the void. In other cultures I think it called something like Zen. Empty your mind and enlightenment will come.
Wishing you continual stupid serendipity."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Thanked: 2284It's so true Richard. It tends to be when I'm relaxing doing absolutely nothing. I take pictures of stair spindles and table legs on my phone, trying to get inspiration. Sometimes you can put different things together to make a nice turning. Sometimes I just think to hard about it.
And thats why I reached out to you. It is because of your creative genius. Yep this one is a keeper.
Thank-you its so amazing seeing that sun burst on the bottom.
