Default Big ol hunk of burl!!

Decided I needed a new brush. I haven't made one for myself in a while and I also realized I didn't have a 2 band brush. So, I decided to go big or go home! The knot is a 30mm TGN finest 2 band with a loft of 52mm. The handle is a massive handle and I wasn't sure if I had screwed up the proportion severely when I turned it. I wanted it to be bigger than big and I think I got it, without it looking stupid big. It's Golden Amboyna burl with some nice bark inclusions and tons of light and dark figuring. I threw in some pics next to other brushes just to give some scale to how big it actually is.

Thanks for looking Fellow wet shavers!!

Lovely design Andrew and the wood is fantastic. Too big for my diddy hands - the one underneath is more my size.

My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

I've got enough average sized handles, I wanted something to really show off a nice piece of burl. I won't lie, it does feel bulky in my hand but I was expecting that. I only need one this size and do prefer a 22-26mm brush.
