Default Third brush, mahogany and copper

Third completed brush. Mahogany stained red and dark brown with Formbys tung oil. Copper wire inlaid to the handle and regular 1 inch copper pipe polished and coated for the cap. The brush is a 26 mm silvertip grade A. I am hoping that the tung oil protects the copper from turning color when exposed to water. Next brush is curly maple!

    Beautifull Brush,fantastic work.
Tung oil works great for protecting copper and brass,I made these over a year ago,tho they have never been used they show no signs of tarnish.
    I also used tung oil.

Those are gorgeous, and thanks for the tips.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    Fiddlerosin, nice work! Beautiful brush.
Pixelfixed, those are beautiful brush/handles. Nearly broke my heart to read "they never have been used". They are lovely.

I like the scribe lines in the metal. I may give that a shot also! Thank you.
