    I have a feeling there's more to this brush handle than the pictures are revealing. How about a down the barrel shot? I like the combination of materials and Mesquite is a pretty nice looking wood IMO very rustic looking.

    Here you go. I was going for a contrast between dark and light wood. The Ash came from a friend's wood pile, the Mesquite is some material I had left over from some pen blanks I cut. The triangle look is a result of the off-set turning. Its kind of a PITA to do and I yet to master the technique but it really can show off the grain in an ordinary piece of wood.

    Thanks for posting another pic! offset turning seems to yield some very cool abstract designs. Keep up the great work, look forward to seeing more of it!
