Thanked: 228428mm ST, Translucent Acrylic
Here's a brush I did for Jon in Alberta, (Thisisclog) It's a 28mm grade A, silvertip set to a loft of 53mm. The handle is 3 colors of Cast Acrylic. Orange, clear, and smoke. This is based off of a brush I did a little while back, but I changed the shape a bit. Not only so I wasn't copying one I already did, but also to accommodate the big 28mm knot. I also tried a different glue for the badger knot. A bunch of us had talked about being able to see the epoxy through the wall of the handle. Some really liked this look, and some thought it had no appeal. This glue I used is called E6000 and is an industrial grade adhesive that is crystal clear. I really like the way it looks, and those who do like being able to see the insides, this gives it the best look IMO.
Super excited about what I'm getting in return from Jon...... I'll leave that up to Jon to post when it's done.
(I'm grinning ear to ear as I type!!)
Thanks for looking Gentlemen!

Thanked: 2284I should mention that the E6000 glue also seems to self level on the inside, which I also really like. Down side, 24-72 hour cure time.

Oh! Oh my goodness! Oh me and my! Oh gosh darn it! Oh s**t! My eyes have been assaulted once again with beauty.
Andrew, thank you for starting my visual Monday off with an immediate spike in the greed and envy area of my brain. I go now to contemplate nefarious methods of acquiring wealth so as to cogitate on the whys and wherefores of ruining my financial health even more than it is now afflicted."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

It's only acrylic but it has the crisp clarity that makes you think of fine crystal. The colors are great together, I keep thinking it looks "delicious"

Well this brush looks familiar. Lol. My fav in rotation is very close to this one. Andrew I think I like the clear glue better but also don't mind what mine has at all. This is one of my favorite designs. Just the right size too. Excellent work. I'm planning the next one already. Lol.
