Thanked: 2284Nope, it's not a glue. It basically melts both pieces and fuses them together. Much the same as ABS pipes are joined together or PVC pipe. Same when you do a model car or plane. Once they're together, it ain't coming apart. Before I fuse them, I have to make sure all sides to be joined are 100% flat. I cut them to length, start at 120 grit on a very flat surface and work up through the grits to 600 wet. Then join them.
