This is a brush I've had locked in my head, and every time I went through my material box, these 2 hunks of Tru stone would stare up at me saying "Make Me, Make Me, Make Me." So I finally did.

The red middle is "Red Dino bone" and the black is "Black and White Web"

Love the way this turned out, but hated how it performed on the lathe. Both the red and black pieces are considered to be hard to turn, and they were. I resharpened 2 separate gouges 3 times each through the whole shaping process. This stuff killed my edges on my HSS tools almost instantly. Wet sanding Tru stone is always a joy though. It sands very easily.

Really love the heft of this one and I thought I might keep it..... but someone spoke up on Instagram and now it's leaving here.... Darn.

Thanks for looking guys!
