Brass Brush #2
Hello Gents!
Well I really enjoyed making the first one but I never got to use it because I gave it to Outback, so I made another one.. This one is a bit different.
Brass candle holder. Cut at base with a brass rod hammered in (Heating up base with torch and tapping in frozen brass rod just a hair to big for hole).
The wood is padauk with a sheet of brass dividing it.
The knot is Grade A silvertip from TGN.
Thanks for looking, I dont mind the jokes, the guys on the other thread have a hell of a time poking fun.. Honestly I sometimes look at it and say "what the hell was I thinking?!"
But I think it will be very functional and I like the idea of making things out of things... lol
And I really like brass.
Have a great night!
Oh and the other brush is giver for a comparison, it is my horn handle Thiers Issard.“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

Thanks a million guys! You know I think the possibilities are many.. there are a bunch of ideas I want to try out including sterling silver, but that's a bit pricey..
And the cool thing is that when you find a candle holder, it will kindof speak to you about what would look good and feel right.. so grab one and turn it around a bit, and imagine the possibilities!“You must unlearn what you have learned.”
