Default Welsh Red Deer antler brushes...

Hope you like these I've made. They are Welsh Red Deer antler, capped with black buffalo horn. Knots are all silver tip badger, 22mm, 50mm loft. They are lovely and soft with good backbone. The antler, polished with some natural patterning remaining, feel incredibly tactile and comfortable in the hand. They are all totally individual pieces owing to the shape and patterning of the antler.

They look great Wayne! The antler has a soft look and is really set off by the black horn. Very nice work. thanks for sharing the photos.

    Absolutely beautiful brushes!
The antler kind of reminds me of an old pocketknife handle.

Very nice! As they said it is a great combo, very balanced. I like how you compensated for the irregular holes with horn.. Nice touch, Im not sure if that is regularly done because Im new to brush making but it looks well done.
I recently purchased several knots, and the softest one is the Grade A Silvertip. One of the knots is a High Mountain White and I had assumed because of all the reviews that it would be the softest WITH great backbone.. It has great backbone but the Grade A is softer for sure. Just thought Id share that.
    Great work!
