Thanked: 2284Blue kirinite Shavemac
I wrapped this one up last night after the kiddies were put to bed. The handle is blue topaz water kirinite, and the badger knot is a Shavemac 24mm 2band silvertip, with a loft of 50mm. This was my first time using a Shavemac knot, and just by a visual inspection, they are very nice knots. Perfect uniformity, not a hair out of place and you can tell the hairs have been combed many times during the making. Every hair is perfectly straight and does not criss cross with the others. I really need to get myself one and put it to the test on the face.
After initial sanding with 180 grit to smooth out tool marks and imperfections
Shaping completed, now onto sanding with 180 grit.
Hole bored to proper depth, inside cup and lip sanded to 2500, and top portion of handle shaped. Now ready to flip around and proceed with remainder of shaping.

That blue kirinite is awesome, especially looking at it from the bottom in the first picture. Looks like blueberry ribbon candy suspended inside.
