No such thing as scraps when you have a lathe
Assorted Gabon ebony ends and some forgotten about Ivory substitute. Had a little time to kill one evening.

Turned myself a few tamper handles from some wood shop oak, maple, walnut scraps. You would be surprised what you can make out of cutoff's.
