Default Bacote and Blackwood Brush and Razor Set

As a pen maker I get a lot of scrap material; usually about a 2" x 3/4" piece. Since I throw away nearly nothing I was looking to make something with my growing stock.
I glued up 4 pieces of Bacote with hotel room key segments as a transition. Added African Blackwood to the top and bottom then drilled out a 7/8" hole and inlayed American Holly as a backdrop for the monogram. Finished in multi-coats of CA.
The razor is a similar setup. This one is for a colleague.
    Thanks for viewing.

Really nice grain and section work. Like the script as well. Well done.

Let me know if you ever run short; I could tile the bathroom with my supply.

That's a beautiful combination of materials with a fantastic contrast. Motel room keys!!!...Whoda thunk??
I'd like to see some straight razor scales made the same way.
    Outstanding work !
