Thanked: 2284How to turn a wooden shave brush video
I know a lot of you wanted to see how I did my shaving brushes, so I finally got around to making a rig to hold my camcorder and getting some footage. In this video I use all the normal tools I would normally use, and the material is just a basic single block of wood. I'm planning on doing some other videos showing how to turn a brush with just basic accessories and basic tools, as well as more complicated handles and of course some acrylic.
This video is just raw footage which I hope to get cleaned up, and trim some of the dead spots that don't need to be there. At one point I double check on my phone for the loft setting I need, and my wife even yells down at me cause my youngest needed to go pee. There's a few spots like this that need to be cut out. Also, once I start sanding it gets kinda boring so you can skip over that if you'd like. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Hope you like it. I'm a bit nervous posting this for all you guys to see so be nice.
