Brush in walnut and pewter with some how to pictures
Finally got some quality CA to finish another brush. Chose to let some wood show through the bottom. Hard to capture the colors of the wood but it's a nice piece of burl.
first image of wooden mold for end piece.
removed with plug ready to turn
i rough out the blank so that the pewter can be poured around the wood.
starting the turning
finished product.

Thanked: 4206Terrific work, really like the idea of pouring around the blank itself. Work with a number of softer alloys I would imagine.
Thanks for sharing, and again, really terrific work sir!
