    Default MWF

i have a tub of MWF. Had it for over a year. Use it occasionally. Can this soap dry out. To the point where it effects the lather making properties or, dried quickly on your face?

Well IME yes to the first question, and no to the second, if it is used correctly. I have the ceramic MWF container and lid. Whatever you have, put a puddle of water on top of the puck, walk away for five minutes before lathering. When you are done with the puck put the lid on the container leaving the puck wet. Use it daily for a week or so, and it will moisten back up. That has been my experience after leaving the MWF for months and letting it dry out. YMMV.

Agree with Jimmy - just brought a jar of MWF out that had been boxed for well over a year - did exactly that - couple of drabs of hot water on the top of the puck, stropped up the razor, rinsed my face, and went at the puck with a brush and was bursting with MWF - got to like MWF all over again.

.yea I got a puck of MWF that's over 2 1/2 years old, used it for a few weeks, very good soap, I just didn't care for the scent that much, not a bad smell just not my favorite. It gets dry and cracks up like a desert dry lake bed. But put some water on top and it's all good again. I use it to break in new brushes, does a fine job of de scenting a badger and really is good for the hairs, and every now and then I use it to shave too. Tc
