Was planning on making another with pen blank scraps but messed that one up.
It becomes a bottle stopper now.
Bacote, African Blackwood and American Holly segments with room keys as transition.
    Thanks for viewing.

Extremely nice! If I may, how do you do the monograms?

Excellent work. I really like the way you used the grain direction of the bocote.

Initially I was buying vinyl transfer decals on Etsy. But that proved to be a PIA. Lead times were excessive, size and fonts were limited and you only get one chance to get it right.
So I bought some clear Avery mailing labels, downloaded some fonts and printed one off.
I trim it down, lay it and apply coats of CA. Sand and polish.
If I've succeeded one can't feel the edge of the label and its nearly invisible.

WOW! I am impressed! Excellent idea, one which I would never accomplish!

It always amazes me what guys here do. I mean, really! Some great thinkers here.
Some of the most creative I have seen!

Very nice! The grain of the bocote is beautiful, and the whole brush ties together great

Very nice. Although I hate the smell of Bocote ( Dill Pickles), it sure is a pretty wood. Very well done!
