Thanked: 2284Polo style Shave Mac
A brush I was commissioned to make, that was right up my alley. A Polo style handle with a 24mm Shavemac silvertip 2 band fan. The handle material is Faux Tortoise with a black top. Really love the way this came out.

That is gorgeous! I happen to be biased for green and tortoise things, but I may have to swipe that from the purchaser's mailbox...

Tremendous shape. But I did like it somewhat before you sanded it. Must keep that shape in mind. How long is it? PM me ab out getting that wood to you.

Thanked: 4206Nice work on that tortoise Andrew. Found that material very prone to chipping while turning.

Thanked: 2284Me too Mike. That Faux Bakalite turned so nice and this Tortoise was a pain. Must have slightly different composition or something.
