Default Olilvewood with gunmetal accent band

Well been wanting to marry up the two for some time and finally found the time to do so. This is my last on hand piece of olivewood sourced from Bethlehem in the Middle East. I decided to do a more longer brush to resemble that of a barbers brush with the longer handle.

It will be eventually adorned to a 21mm silvertip badger knot. I will post the final build once done.

I like the Olive wood, reminds me of Hickory somewhat with its streaking. Your handle looks great, a longer handle makes good sense to me.

Thank you and yes.........it does look similar to hickory grain. I will tell you however this wood is dense!

Fantastic looking brush! It's going to look great once you glue in the badger.
