Klenzo Re-knot
This is a Klenzo USA Badger Cased B-1054
I received this not a while ago with some other bits
The knot was thinning & not to pleasant so decided to give it an update.
SO I cut the existing 20mm knot flush to the top of the handle with a Stanley knife
I saw 2 distinct hair types or colours anyway in the plug, the center 10mm was darker than the outer edge so not sure if this is Badger around boar or something else, but the original brush was stiffer than my Granddads Boar brush
Drilled out the old plug with a Ø20mm Forstner drill bit
Then cleaned up the hole & enlarged the throat with Ø16mm stone plug type bit in the Dremel
Re painted the inner top edges black to make the original plug
New knot is an Ace Shaving 20mm Finest Badger Bulb Knot
Size is 20mm plug but 22mm at base of knot
So I set it at 44mm as this was double the knot base (not the Plug) see how it goes
Still debating whether to try re-paint the gold stamp or not ?

That's a very cool looking old brush that now looks ready to go for a good many years to come.
Nice job!
