    Default prototype medicinal/travel brush

I started tonight on a different tangent and ended up with this. The donor brush is an Ever Ready 2007 that I got for the handle and I am not going to use a good knot on a prototype.... If my picture skills were better I would give up all of my secrets!

Do you forget to take your pills in the morning or evening? [Whenever you shave.]

You might want to travel once in a while so you can reverse the brush for that. I realize that the bottle should have holes in it to dry the brush. I think that you could have a second bottle handy for that. I use 4 bottles a month so I have plenty of extras.

As I said this is a prototype and I am very open to comments or suggestions. My wife thinks it is a little top heavy and some weight in the bottom for everyday use would be good.

Couple of coins or hammered flat fishing weights might balance it out.
    Neat idea for a traveller.

Flat washers glued to the bottom could work too.

US Quarters are a little small in diameter for the bottle I used. If you could read the date through the bottle that would be cool to use the year it was made. But the bottle blurs it....

I was thinking about using some extra epoxy but I bet the quarter would be cheaper by volume and weight!

I was thinking of the inside not the outside.....

The quarter is still a little to small and although would add weight it might be tipsier yet on the outside. I could definitely find a washer the right size for either in or out.

Sorry I should have specified I meant inside the bottle on the bottom.

How is it to use? The cylindrical handle looks a little cumbersome from the photos.

    Very cool idea.
You could really get creative for the extra weight.
I would drill a few tiny vent holes to keep the air flowing no matter what I decided on for weight.
Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

I am still waiting for the epoxy to 100% cure and haven't tried it out yet.

Other than being top heavy I see no issue.

I used the narrower set of threads that are for people with arthritis etc but not childproof to the top of the brush to try to keep it narrower.

If you did store your mornings pills in it in the using position it would use the "childproof" feature of the cap.

I just did my first lathering test with this brush and with the small used old knot in it it performed as expected.

The one unexpected thing I noticed is that there is a little slop in the threads and It was very noticeable with the swirl. Not a deal breaker by far but noticeable. I could easily make that go away but it wouldn't be reversible....

I am happy enough with this so far to get a good knot to try it with.

I have to get one for the Ever Ready anyway!
