Thanked: 2284How to make an acrylic brush handle
As promised, I have the the first video together, edited and up on YouTube, which is just showing the glue up of the blank before it goes onto the lathe. I had the video of the turning process 90% done and lost the entire thing. DOH!!
Hope to get part 2 together and edited tonight..... but don't hold your breath. I love procrastinating.
Hope this will help anyone in the future wanting to try some acrylic on the lathe. Enjoy!

Thanked: 2284Here's parts 2 and 3 done guys. Hope you can learn something or even be mildly entertained by my mono toned, Canadian accent. Or maybe even a little by what I'm actually going..... I think I may be slightly better at talking to the camera in this one, compared to the last. I really hate talking to no one. Again thanks.

Thanked: 4207No discernible accent detected aye!
And an appropriate use of flannel to boot!
Great vids Andrew, thanks for posting them. Always wanted to see your shop in action.
Going to need to try that adhesive, fusing the materials together like that beats making tenons on everything, saves a boat load of labour as well.
Cheers buddy, nice work!

Outstanding video's Andrew!!
I never thought that I would get that mutch pleasure watching a piece of acrylic spin in a lathe.
Now...we're you sanding those blocks in the first video on a beautiful granite kitchen countertop??
I want to see the next video of your wife walking in, catching you in the act, then chasing you down the road waving a frying pan and screaming obscenities!!
Anyway, thanks for taking the time and sharing this!
