Thread: Help w/ TGN Silvertip

It is 24mm 3 band silvertip grade A knot from TGN. I am going to reset the knot at the same loft as it was and try getting just the tips wet instead of soaking the brush whilst I shower. Also try and use less water than I normally would. Again guys thanks so much for all the help.

I just checked a handle I re knotted with a TGN 24mm 3 band silvertip, can't remember the grade. I like backbone in a knot and 3 banders are not really know for that. End result was that I set the loft at 45mm, had to check that twice. That is lower than I would set the same size 2 bander.

In any event before resetting the knot loft try using a dryer brush to start with and add water slowly to see if that cures it before resetting the loft.
