Thanked: 2284A couple I just spun.
Here's a couple brushes I just spun out quick. The skateboard veneer handle was a cut off I had from the last project. Made for a cute little handle. The round handle is Ontario Black Locust Burl. Some interesting stats on Black Locust wood is it is highly rot resistant and very outdoor resistant. It's actually a superior wood to Hickory.
Thanks for checking them out fellas.

Nice handles!
Black Locust wood was used by Native Americans for bows, too.

Thanked: 2284Thanks Andrew. Never would I have ever looked at a plain, Jane round handle for a brush. But my "Clown Nose" Plisson tells me otherwise. I really like this handle shape for a brush. I like to use it when I'm trying to showcase the figure specifically in the handle. The simplicity of the shape doesn't take away from what really needs to be seen.
