    Great job! Nice looking wood, what is it? What did you use as the finish? I did a couple from wood by hand without a lathe last year, turned out nice and I still use them but made me want a lathe even worse than before

    No i did use a drill for the knot hole .
    I bought a 2x2 piece of Red Oak and whittled down and then hours of sanding.. Used Bombay Mahogany stain

    and Yes xiaotuzi i do want a lathe . LOL !!!
