Finishing Harrywally Brush!
So a while back, our resident brush-handle genius copied one of my vintage handles in a 'skateboard' pattern made by stacking and gluing veneers in this thread.

Lucky Me, He gifted the handle to me!
While it looked cool, I decided to get it cleared as deeply as I could using my crude, redneck knowledge and things on-hand at the shop. Got out the supplies.
A can of Duplicolor gloss wheel coating, some 3M Finesse-it polish, and some liquid glass polish/finish.
Took a while...Sanded with micromesh down through the grits and 7 coats of the clear wheel coating, 2 days to dry and fine steel-wool between coats.
After 7 coats, some hand polishing with 3M Finesse and 3 applications of the Liquid Glass. The pics don't do it justice. It is super slick!
The fit on my 2-band knot is so tight, I am certain I can use it high and low without adhering it to determine my exact preference before I goop it in permanently!
It's low....
It's high!
Anyhoo, it will go home and tried-out before the knot is set. I decided a green O-ring in the groove looked best. Turned-out just like I imagined!
THANKS, Andrew!
