    Default Bullwinkle XL

    Hello all,

Have not posted anything in a while.
Here is my latest moose antler creation. Some extra length on this big boy, and a slightly larger grip. This one is off to Declaration Brushworks for a sweet hand tied knot. (temp knot for the pics)

Very nice looking brush, the extra length will come in handy, great job!

    Is that antler stabilized?

    Thanks gents,
Rez, it is not stabilized. I do a long soak in an oil finish 3x with a few days cure between soaks. Then a final spin on the lathe and a coat of ren wax.

It is a great looking brush. I know that antler is typically not that thick on the bark. Tricky stuff for sure.

Nice. I have a longer handled Omega brush that has gravitated to be my go to brush.
