Bullwinkle XL
Hello all,
Have not posted anything in a while.
Here is my latest moose antler creation. Some extra length on this big boy, and a slightly larger grip. This one is off to Declaration Brushworks for a sweet hand tied knot. (temp knot for the pics)

Thanked: 4826Is that antler stabilized?

Thanks gents,
Rez, it is not stabilized. I do a long soak in an oil finish 3x with a few days cure between soaks. Then a final spin on the lathe and a coat of ren wax.

Thanked: 4826It is a great looking brush. I know that antler is typically not that thick on the bark. Tricky stuff for sure.

Nice. I have a longer handled Omega brush that has gravitated to be my go to brush.
