I was worried about water and my handle, so I CA'd inside the knot hole. No problems for the past few months, but couldn't tell you for longer.

My old shop teacher and friend told me to CA them. I'm afraid of the CA cracking or crazing over time. Eventually I'd like to sell some here and there and would hate a return. Thanks
