    Default Rubberset 400 replica project

Figured I’d stop claiming thread space over in the “what are you working on” thread.

I love the 400 shape and feel. So much so I made a few arduously by hand and lathe. Turned out well, but I wanted to go to another level so I have been working with my homemade 4 axis engraving rig to automate the process of 80% of the rough and detail work.
I’m not an AutoCAD guy bought have been muddling through the learning curve.
Had a few successes, and a few failures so far.

But overall, it’s coming along and I’m having fun experimenting with new project challenges.
This nice piece of burl from Rezdog is up next.
