Had to try another brush handle shape.
Dropped the wife off for a Dr appointment so it felt like a good time to go to Woodcraft. Found a 22 piece of Chechen. So after I got the yards done and the running around I do on my Sundays I turned this handle. Now its got a crack as I didn't get the hole drilled out on center as well as it should have been. Plus I don't have my chuck yet (damn Amazon) so I'm limited a bit. I will wait until I get my chuck to sand and finish this one. If it makes it without breaking it should be ok with a knot glued in. I think I will make another like this with a little bit longer and wider handle for a better grip.
Here is what I went off of...
I'm finding this turning stuff is not so bad. The cost is killing my bank account and I've been selling off radio equipment to make it happen but in the end, I'm happy with the trade. I got lots of radio stuff. LOL. It's like you just need the right tools, an idea, and some common sense and it just comes to be.Last edited by Gasman; 07-15-2020 at 10:50 PM.
