Default Wanting to re-knot my Vulfix 404 badger/boar brush

I have a Vulfix 404B which is a mixed badger and boar bristle brush. I have fallen out of love with the knot and want to replace it with a badger knot. I do know that many buy this brush just for the handle and re-knot them. Does anyone have experience with re-knotting this brush? What size knot would I need for it to fit properly? What is the process of reknotting it? Who on this board re knots brushes regularly?

If anyone wants try their hand at I'll ship you my brush, the new knot and pay for the return shipping.

    I've done a few re-knots on the 404.
You'll require a 22mm knot and you'll need to widen the hole from half way up to accept the new knot.
Getting the old one out isn't easy as the originla knot can be glued in up to the top of the hole and the modern day glues set rock hard.
When they make them now the manufacturers dont have re-knots in mind! After all its not an expensive brush.
If you want to ship to the UK then I'm happy to do it for you but Im sure there's plenty Stateside who can oblige.
TGN two band finest in fan or bulb is nice option although I'm using a 22mm TGN Super Fan in my own 404.
    regards, beejay
