I am not very handy at all and I was able to make both this brush and stand out of stuff from Mendards. The brush was a section I cut out of a premade spindle that I got for about $3 and the stand was a little premade base thing a section I cut out of a broken shovel handle and a dowel. Add some stain and seal it up ive been using it for almost 3 years now with no complaints. As far as a im concerned home made is way to go.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

My high dollar (LOL!!) brush hanger! Can't get much simpler or cheaper than a modified broom/mop hanger...........
