Did you mix anything in the cement to make it non porous? some sort of epoxy or waterproofing agent?
I think it is a very interesting thing you did. The thing I would is -if you did not waterproof it- if the brush handle and thus the base of the knot would retain water and perhaps be suceptible to hair loss or fungul growth.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
