Thanked: 4249Two more great looking brushes, the mixed wood looks very good, from all the brushes you posted lately seems like they all have a different shape and/or different mix of wood. Great job!

Thanked: 2027Thx Martin,I really Like doing composits of Differant materials. Some work out, some do not.
What I do not like is faux shiney on brushes. The woods I use are all very high in oil content,if use sort of a french polish with rottenstone and oil the true beauty of the wood is exposed,A little ren-wax know and than and your good to go.

Pixel, do I run a risk of injury to the wood brushes by letting them soak in a coffee cup of warm water as a preshave prep, for about 4-5 minutes?

Thanked: 2027By just soaking the knot and not the entire handle,I see no issue.
I head shave and prelather in the shower, all my brushes are wood handled have had no issues.
The knot bores are sealed with several coats of CA before the knot is set so they are pretty water tight, just dry them well after using.
