    Default January 2020 Giveaway

These monthly Giveaways only happen with the Donations from our fine members, so if you have any items you would like to donate, (S.R., DE’s, SE’s, Soaps, brushes, ETC…) PM me for my address.
At this time we could use soap and brushes most of all but anything helps. (We could use 2 Schick type injector blade packs to go with 2 razors we have in stock). So dig through that drawer and donate those items you haven’t used in years.

Any and all shaving items would be greatly appreciated.

\\ PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING TO THE GIVEAWAY //

To promote more forum participation by the members, we have made a few small rules for the giveaway:

In order to be eligible to win, you must have made four forum posts "on four separate days" between the ending of the previous raffle and the drawing of the current one.
These posts can be in the same thread on four separate days or you can post in several threads on four separate days. One of these four can be your post to the Giveaway thread but must be on a separate day then the other three. However, only one post will count in the Giveaway thread as part of your four. For example, if you have only a total of four posts with two of them posted in the Giveaway thread, one by accident, I will delete the last post in the Giveaway thread because you are only allowed one post there which will leave you with only three total posts. If you post only 4 times and two posts are on the same day, you will not be eligible.

It doesn't matter where your raffle entry falls among these posts; all we ask is that you post a few times in the course of the one month period before the closing of the current giveaway.

The above process needs to be repeated for each monthly Giveaway.

This giveaway will last for approximately fifteen days finishing “around the middle of the month”. Finishing date/last day to enter will be posted at the end of the rules.

When you sign in your post number will be your raffle number and from that number, the winners will be chosen.

These giveaways are for ALL SRP MEMBERS regardless of how long they have been members as long as the rules above are followed.

I would ask that when you sign in you say something like "sign me up please" or “I’m in” or something along those lines, along with any comments you care to make, otherwise, I will not know if you are signing up or just making a comment. If you have already signed up please do not post again as that will take up another post number. Please, if you are not signing up do not make any comment posts as this will also take up another post number. I will be checking on double posts and will PM you if you have made one and the last one will be deleted. On the day after the closing, I will notify the winners and get their address, post the winner’s names in a new thread and mail out the prizes ASAP.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!!!
Starting with this post the SRP GIVEAWAY will now start, and Finish on...
Jan. 14th 2020 at Midnight MST.

    First Place:
    1. Geo. Wostenholm & Sons Celebrated IXL Razor. 6/8+ in size, restored and honed by Outback/Mike. He put a lot of time into this blade many hours of Sanding and straightening. I believe it was once posted in the Workshop Thread.
    2. A Puck of Williams Soap.
    3. An Ever-Ready 500N Synthetic Brush.

    Second Place:
    1. Wade & Butcher, The Celebrated Sheffield Razor. 6/8+ in size, also cleaned up and repaired by Outback. Horn scales have been straightened and biggest holes filled. Blade sanded and polished. This razor does show its age but after Mike’s work and honing it should shave a treat.
    2. 2 Sample jars of Blood Orange shave soap from “He who shouldn’t be named, on SRP”. LOL.
    3. An Escali Badger Shave brush with a brush holder.

Those are gorgeous razors and show just how skilled Outback Mike is. I would be honoured to win one.

Thanks for managing this for us Gasman.
