Soap worked up to a good lather that stayed moist on face.
Love the brush. Just the right stiffness and light and balanced.
The bowl is beautiful. Needs a rougher interior to enable you to build a good lather. Started lather in bowl and built it up on face. It may have been a combination of soap, brush and bowl. Will give it another go with different brush and soap.

I remember someone somewhere glueing coins to the bottom of a bowl to bring up the lather quicker.
