I'm about half-way through "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein. It's written from the perspective of a dog and so far I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
