I read A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by George R. R. Martin a couple of weeks ago. This week I've been reading Mark Twain's Roughing It.

I've now finished the Wayward Pines trilogy, Blake Crouch (audiobooks from the library).
For the price, I enjoyed them.
I'm now onto Solar by Ian McEwan. Another audiobook from the library. Not sure yet about this one...

    Back to Science Fiction.
Reading "Ringworld" by Larry Niven. It is being reprinted with others of the series. I read it first about 40+ years back.

I await the latest space opera from David Drake; due in the post tomorrow.
    "Death's Bright Day"
There are now about 11 rollicking stories in the series. It is one of two series which I have in hardcover.

The other hardcover series being the, near future, stand alone novels by L.E. Modesitt Jr. of things to come.

Just finished A Hero of France, the newest of Alan Furst's WWII era spy novels. It was just what you'd expect from Furst, a good story and well written.
